Misrepresentation can involve directly or indirectly providing false information, or withholding material information that is relevant to the administration of Canadian immigration law.
It can apply even when the incorrect information was provided by someone else, such as an unauthorized representative. A finding can carry a period of inadmissibility.
If you have received a procedural fairness letter raising misrepresentation, the exact allegation, deadlines, and evidence must be reviewed carefully before responding.
